Cat is a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their communication goals and participate confidently in everyday life. She is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based therapy that is tailored to each individual's unique strengths, interests, and aspirations.
Prior to becoming a Speech Pathologist, Cat worked in the Early Years sector, where she developed a strong understanding of child development, learning through play, and the importance of fostering communication within everyday environments. This experience provides her with a strong foundation for supporting young children and their families, allowing her to create engaging, play-based therapy that is meaningful, functional, and responsive to each child's developmental needs.
Cat enjoys working with people across the lifespan and provides assessment and intervention in early years intervention, speech, language, social communication, voice, and adult dysphagia. She designs individualised therapy programs that are engaging, evidence-based, and tailored to each person's strengths, interests, and goals. By incorporating meaningful activities and building on existing abilities, Cat creates therapy that promotes confidence, skill development, and participation in everyday life.
Cat adopts a family-centred approach to practice, recognising that collaboration is essential to achieving meaningful outcomes. She values working in partnership with individuals, families, caregivers, educators, support networks, and other health professionals to develop shared goals and provide consistent, holistic support across a range of environments.
Cat is committed to delivering evidence-based, individualised intervention that aligns with each person's daily life and priorities. She works collaboratively with individuals and their support networks to establish goals that are meaningful and important to them, ensuring therapy is functional, relevant, and focused on outcomes that enhance participation, independence, and quality of life.
