Dr. Danika Hiew is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with many years of practice across hospital and community health settings. She supports individuals living with a wide range of complex and chronic health conditions, including persistent pain, respiratory and cardiac issues, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, and medically unexplained symptoms such as Functional Neurological Disorder and Persistent Postural Perceptual
Dizziness.
Beyond physical health, Danika provides compassionate psychological care for common mental health and life challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, relationship concerns, parenting, life transitions, and grief linked to unmet expectations. As a former international sporting representative, Danika also understands the psychological demands of elite sport and is passionate about helping athletes navigate the pressures of high-performance environments. She holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and a PhD, with published research
on intercultural relationships. Danika enjoys supporting couples and families in navigating cultural differences, helping them build understanding and shared meaning.
Fluent in working cross-culturally, Danika has extensive experience providing therapy with the support of interpreters. Interpreter-assisted sessions are welcomed – please specify the language needed when making a referral.

Anne-Maree is a Registered Psychologist who is passionate about supporting individuals to improve their mental health, build resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting change. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental environment, working collaboratively with each client to develop practical strategies that support their wellbeing and personal goals.
Before pursuing psychology, Anne-Maree enjoyed a successful career in the corporate and higher education sectors. Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, she returned to university to complete qualifications in psychology and education, bringing with her a wealth of life experience and a strong understanding of the diverse challenges people face.
Anne-Maree completed more than 5,000 hours of supervised clinical practice across a variety of public, community, and private healthcare settings before achieving full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This extensive experience has equipped her to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across different stages of life.
She is committed to providing person-centred care that is tailored to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and circumstances. Anne-Maree believes that building a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for successful outcomes and works alongside her clients to help them develop confidence, resilience, and practical skills to navigate life's challenges.
Anne-Maree values lifelong learning and regularly undertakes professional development to ensure her practice reflects current evidence and best-practice psychological approaches. She also holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Queensland Blue Card, allowing her to support both adults and children in a range of settings.
