Taelar is a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to participate in everyday life. She takes a family-centred approach, working closely with children, parents, and caregivers to create meaningful goals that support independence, learning, and overall wellbeing.
Taelar has a special interest in paediatric occupational therapy, supporting children with sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, fine motor development, handwriting, and everyday living skills. She develops individualised therapy programs that are engaging, practical, and tailored to each child's unique strengths, challenges, and developmental goals.
In addition to therapy, Taelar conducts Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) to provide a comprehensive understanding of a participant's abilities, support needs, and functional capacity. These assessments assist families and participants in accessing appropriate supports and services through the NDIS and other funding pathways.
Taelar believes that every child has the potential to thrive when provided with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities. She is committed to working collaboratively with families, educators, and other health professionals to help children build confidence, develop essential life skills, and maximise their participation at home, school, and within the community.
At MoveSense Health and Rehabilitation, Taelar is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and goal-focused occupational therapy that empowers children and their families to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.
