At MoveSense Health and Rehabilitation, we have a qualified podiatrist available onsite to help manage a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. Healthy feet play an important role in overall mobility and comfort, and our podiatry service focuses on maintaining foot health, preventing complications, and supporting safe movement.
Our podiatrist provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for many common foot concerns. This includes management of skin and nail conditions such as corns, calluses, thickened nails, and ingrown toenails, as well as care for people living with diabetes who require regular monitoring and preventative foot care.
A key part of podiatry treatment is gait assessment, where the way you walk and distribute weight through your feet is carefully evaluated. Changes in foot mechanics or alignment can sometimes contribute to pain in the feet, ankles, knees, hips, or lower back. Through gait analysis, our podiatrist can identify underlying issues and recommend appropriate treatment options.
Where required, custom foot orthotics may be prescribed to improve foot alignment, reduce pressure on sensitive areas, and support better movement patterns. Orthotics can be particularly helpful for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, heel pain, flat feet, and certain sports-related injuries.
For specific nail conditions, minor podiatric surgical procedures may also be performed when conservative treatment is not sufficient. These procedures are designed to relieve pain and address recurring problems such as persistent ingrown toenails.
Our podiatry service works closely with other allied health professionals within the clinic to ensure coordinated care that supports mobility, comfort, and long-term foot health.
